Amtii: It is a typical Maharashtrian spicy mixture of dal which is slightly hot, spicy and tangy to taste. This dish is the essence of most Maharashtrian homes. Amti is little hot, little sweet and little tangy.
Thecha: Thecha or Kharda is an authentic Maharashtrian recipe of fresh green chilly or red chilly garlic chutney. It is an extra spicy dry chilly raw garlic chutney which is loved by every Maharashtrian.

The tender Jowar stalks are roasted / barbecued in hot coal ashes and then the roasted tender is called as Hurda.

How to eat: Hurda is then served along with Chutney (made of Desiccated Coconut, Garlic and dried Red Chilly) and Curd.
